This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.
A “Visitor” is an individual who visits www.acorncloud.net, who has registered an interest in AcornCloud.
A “Member” is a Service who has an account with AcornCloud Early Years software platform.
An “End User” is a parent/ guardian and staff member who is a user of AcornCloud created by the Service.

What Information We Collect
AcornCloud will collect your information to provide a personalised service, to make your experience better and fulfill your requirements and to ensure compliancy with Early Years regulations. AcornCloud collects information in three waysa) Information provided by a Visitor/ Member/ End User.b) Information collected automatically from cookies.c) Information obtained by third parties.

Information Provided by You Visitor/ Member: Conversation with AcornCloud: We try to improve your customer experience and interactions with the team by documenting, evaluating, and using your interactions with us, including email, phone, and chat conversations with our sales and customer service representatives.
1. Member: Account Sign Up/Log In: To complete the Service account signup process, we ask for details such as your name, phone number, email address, business name, and country when you sign up for an account. You will set the password for your account, to access it in the future. A unique and confidential link will be shared to the registered email id, in case you forgot your password and wish to reset. Once Log In is approved we will then ask you to complete the full Service Profile including Funding, Rooms, Staff, Children, Parents and any other information required to ensure the effective operation of the software platform.
2. End User: End Users will receive an invitation from the Service to complete all relevant and necessary details relating both to them and the children in their guardianship and or staff details. This information may contain Personal Sensitive Data but is required to ensure care, safety and compliancy.
3. Form Submission: We collect your information when you submit a form for one or all reasons listed here; to subscribe to our mailing list or newsletter.submit a form to download any resource.register to attend an event organized by us.to reach our customer services division for support.to contact us for any purpose.complete a survey.provide your feedback.
4. Testimonials: Whenever you provide your feedback or testimonial to our products or services, we will ask your permission to post your response on our website or collateral. With your consent, we can use your name and other information in the testimony. Information We Collect Automatically Information from browsers, devices, and servers: We may collect information that is made available to us by your web browser, mobile device, and server when you visit our website. The information collected might include internet protocol address, browser type, language preference, time zone, referring URL, date and time of access, operating system, mobile device manufacturer, and mobile network information. These will be stored in our log files so that we can understand more about the users who visit our website.

Information Collected from Third Parties If you leave a comment on one of our products or services, AcornCloud can collect information about you from review sites, as well as from other third-party service providers that help us sell our products. Referrals: If you share with us information about someone else, or if someone else gives us information about you, we can only use it for the intent for which it was given to us. We must remind you that once this information has been obtained, it will remain with us even though you delete it from social networking pages. We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to process payments made through AcornCloud. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers.
